🩺 BScPA Program — Admissions Process (2026 Entry)

📅 Step 1: University of Toronto Online Application (OUAC)

Deadline: 🕛 January 15, 2026 (11:59 PM EST)

Fee:

• OUAC Undergraduate Application: $156 + $94 + transcript fees (if applicable)

• Payable to OUAC upon submission.

Tip: Submit early — do not wait until the deadline.

🔑 Step 2: Enable Your JOINid

Timeline: ~5–10 business days after OUAC submission

You’ll receive an email from the University Admissions and Outreach Office containing:

• Your JOINid and U of T Applicant Number

• Instructions to activate your account on join.utoronto.ca

Important:

• Use JOINid to track application status and upload documents.

• Updates on the JOIN portal can take 5–10 business days — do not contact admissions before that time.

📄 Step 3: Transcripts & Proof of English Language Proficiency

Deadline: 🕛 January 30, 2026 (11:59 PM EST)

What to Submit:

• Official transcripts for all completed undergraduate coursework.
  • Must show grades for all 10 full-year (20 half-year) courses.
  • Include transcripts for any transfer credits.

• Proof of English proficiency, if applicable (e.g., TOEFL, IELTS).

Submission Details:

Unofficial transcripts may be uploaded via JOINid, but official ones are required to finalize admission.

Note: High school transcripts are not required.

🧾 Step 4: Supplemental Documentation & References

Deadline: 🕛 January 30, 2026 (11:59 PM EST)

4A. Supplemental Application

• You’ll receive the link to this application ~10 business days after getting your U of T applicant number.

• You will need both your OUAC and U of T applicant numbers to complete it.

• After submitting, you’ll be prompted to pay the $144.91 fee
  • ($130 supplemental + $14.91 processing) — non-refundable.

• If someone else pays for you, email admissions with your info and their name.

Academic Integrity:

Your submission must be your own work. The university runs random plagiarism checks through a secure comparison database.

If you do not consent to plagiarism screening, notify admissions by midnight, January 30, 2026 in writing.

Verification:

Your supplemental application will show as “received” in the JOIN portal within 5–10 business days of submission.

4B. Applicant Reference Forms

Deadline: 🕛 January 30, 2026 (11:59 PM EST)

Requirement: 3 references (only the first 3 received are considered).

Reference Criteria:

✅ Known you for at least 3 months

✅ Professional capacity (able to assess character, professionalism, etc.)

✅ One reference must be a supervisor/manager in a clinical, research, or professional setting

✅ One reference must know your performance in a healthcare setting

(One person may fulfill both roles)

🚫 References cannot be family members, friends, or anyone you’ve provided or received healthcare services from.

Applicant Instructions:

1. Provide each referee with the link to the online Applicant Reference Form (available end of October).

2. Give referees your U of T Applicant Number and email address.

3. Confirm all 3 forms are submitted by Jan 30, 2026 (11:59 PM EST).

4. Check JOIN portal ~2 weeks after submission for confirmation.

Reference Instructions:

• Complete and submit the online form by the deadline.

• No edits allowed after submission.

• Receive confirmation email from the program.

🎤 Step 5: Virtual Multiple Mini Interview (vMMI)

Date: 🗓️ April 2026

Invitation: Sent approximately 2 weeks before interview dates.

Format:

• Virtual (no need to travel to Toronto).

• Series of stations, each with a scenario/question and timed response.

• Evaluates communication, empathy, ethics, and professionalism.

Applicants serving in the Canadian Forces abroad may request alternate arrangements.

🎓 Offers of Admission

Release Date: 🗓️ May 23, 2026

• Offers may be conditional on final requirements.

• Applicants not initially accepted may be placed on a waitlist.

• Notifications are sent by email.
